Patna High Court CWJC No.3786 of 2017(3) dt.27-08-2018 2/3 ORAL ORDER 27-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
Today, the case is listed under the heading for orders. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the respondents are contemplating regularizing the services of contractual employees in terms of the policy decision. Mr. Ramakant Sharma, learned senior counsel submits that since the respondents have taken policy decision, it would be appropriate that the respondents may consider the case of the petitioners also in light of the policy decision of the State Government.
Mr. Ajay, learned counsel for the State submits that if the case of the petitioner is covered under the policy decision, the respondents will definitely consider the case of the petitioners in accordance with law within the parameters of the policy decision taken by the State Government. In view of the above the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file exhaustive representation addressed to the Principal Secretary of the Science and Technology Department. The Principal Secretary of the Science and Technology department will take appropriate decision in accordance with law on the representation proposed to be filed
Patna High Court CWJC No.3786 of 2017(3) dt.27-08-2018 3/3 along with copy of this order by the petitioners. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the claim of the petitioner. The principal Secretary of the department shall consider the case of the petitioners in the light of the policy decision of the State government.
With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
