This contempt application is filed alleging noncompliance of the judgment and order of this Court passed in CWJC No. 16009 of 2013, whereby the writ petition was allowed and respondent authorities in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India were directed to release the pensionery dues to the petitioner.

Patna High Court MJC No.2979 of 2017 (7) dt.04-10-2018 A show cause has been filed where steps taken by the opposite parties to implement the order stands discussed and which is followed by a supplementary show cause enclosing a communication of the authorization to the Manager, the State Bank of India for taking necessary steps. While Ms. Namrata Mishra, learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly informs that she is not in touch with the petitioner to inform the latest position, Mr. Anshuman Singh, learned Central Government Counsel, hands over a copy of the letter of the Manager, the State Bank of India communicating that the pension of the petitioner would be initiated from the first week of October, 2018. Let the letters be retained on record of the proceedings and with the observations above, the contempt application is disposed of.
