The Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim Simpi Devi, who died in her matrimonial house within seven years of marriage in unnatural circumstances.

There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Case diary would reveal that some of the witnesses supported the demand of dowry and torture for the same before

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17622 of 2017 (3) dt.22-06-2017 2/2 the police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has relied on supervision note, for his submission that before the supervising authority the witnesses have stated that due to family quarrel the victim committed suicide.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and material available, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Ghoshi Police Station Case No. 291 of 2015, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad/Successor Court. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
