The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 225 of 2014 instituted for the offence under Section (s) 147, 148, 149, 341, 332, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
From the written report, it appears that there was some demonstration in front of the Block Office against the irregularities in distribution of ration items. It is alleged that when the police party came to control the law and order the accused
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8929 of 2017 (2) dt.28-02-2017 2/2 persons obstructed the police personnel to perform their official duties. The name of this petitioner has been mentioned at item No. 17 in the column of accused persons.
From the written report, it appears that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioner, above named, within six weeks from today in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 225 of 2014, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, Motihari, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C.
