The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Mednichauki P.S. Case No. 57/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 494, 504 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that she was married to Jai Narayan Mahto in the year 2009, but her husband and other inlaws were torturing her. On account of torture she went to her Naihar. On 10.11.2016, the informant got information that her husband solemnized second marriage.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the informant. No specific allegation of demand of dowry and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10557 of 2017 (2) dt.15-03-2017 2/2 torture is made against the petitioners. The marriage was solemnized in the year 2009 and the case lodged in the year 2016. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioners are in-laws of the informant, the petitioners above named in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Mednichauki P.S. Case No. 57/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Rakhi U T
