The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 223.5 litres of country liquor was recovered from a tempo and the petitioner was taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was merely a passenger in the said tempo. The driver of the tempo managed to escape. The petitioner is in custody since 3.11.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Case no. 183 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge II - cum - Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad.
