This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bhaptiyahi P.S. Case No.99 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.

The petitioner is accused of assaulting the victim causing grievous injury. He is in custody since 24.05.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are other accused persons also and there is case and counter case between the parties, inasmuch as, the petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60443 of 2025(2) dt.08-09-2025 2/2 aged about 70 years and he is not expected to participate in the occurrence.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and also the age of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul / concerned Court below, in connection with Bhaptiyahi P.S.
