2.Petitioners have inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraph No.1 of the writ petition:- "That the present writ petition is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to act upon the recommendation of District Compassionate Committee by appointing the petitioners on class - III posts in grade pay 1900 and for granting the consequential benefits and for any

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that father of petitioner no.1 had died in harness on 24.10.2016 and petitioner no.1 has made application on 11.12.2017, whereas father of petitioner no.2 died in harness on 10.01.2018 and petitioner no.2 has made application on 20.09.2018 for their appointment on compassionate ground. Their cases were considered by the District Compassionate Committee, Vaishali on 25.09.2018. Both the petitioners were appointed on 06.07.2019. Grievance of the petitioners is that their case has not been considered in light of the guidelines issued by the General Administration Department, considering the fact that the vacancy of Group 'C' post is still vacant in Collectorate Vaishali and petitioners have all requisite qualification for the Group 'C' posts. Learned counsel in these backgrounds, seeks to file a detailed representation for consideration of their case in light of order dated 12.01.2024 passed in CWJC No.3577 of 2020.

4. Considering the limited relief, as sought for in the present writ petition, petitioners may approach the appropriate authority for getting their grievance redressed in light of the guidelines issued by the General Administration Department

Patna High Court CWJC No.14784 of 2024(2) dt.26-09-2024 3/3 and the direction contained in order dated 12.01.2024 passed in CWJC No.3577 of 2020, expeditiously. In case, the authority concerned finds no merit in the case of the petitioners, then in that case, the petitioners must be provided due opportunity of hearing for placing their case.
