The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 494/366 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that the married daughter of the informant was kidnapped by this petitioner for the purpose of marriage. In her statement recorded, under Section 164 Cr.P.C., though the victim had alleged that the petitioner forcefully kidnapped and ravished her. However, the entire statement would reveal that when her husband refused to keep relationship of husband and wife with her, knowing the fact that she had gone with the petitioner she made the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Halsi (Ramgarh Chowk) P.S. Case No.178 of 2018, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
