The petitioner, invoking writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has prayed for directing the Respondents to appoint him on the post of constable in Magadh Range with all consequential benefits. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner had approached this Court with a prayer to direct the Respondents for re-measurement. However, the writ petition of the petitioner along with number of writ petitions was disposed of
Patna High Court CWJC No.14610 of 2008 (2) dt.17-09-2015 2/2 granting liberty to the petitioner and others to file representation before the appropriate authority. Of course, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition, no representation has been brought on record purported to be filed in compliance with the order of the writ court. Moreover, the advertisement for appointment on the post of constable was published long back in the year 1998 and, as such, it would be difficult for this Court to pass any positive order.
The writ petition stands dismissed.
