The petitioners are in judicial custody in connection with Special Case No. 22 of 2020 arising out of Baisi P.S. Case No. 289 of 2020 registered under Sections 8, 20(b) (ii) (c) and 25 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Allegation in the FIR is that the police got secret information and acting upon that they intercepted a Bolero Pickup bearing Registration No. AS19AC/0837 coming from West

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70104 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 Bengal, Dalkol. As they approached the vehicle, two persons tried to escape but were apprehended but only after good chase. Upon search, amongst other, altogether 185.230 k.g. of 'ganja' was recovered/seized.

Considering the gravity of the allegation that has been levelled against the two petitioners and the fact that 185.230 k.g. of 'ganja' has been recovered/seized, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners.

The bail application of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
