The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 143 of 2021 registered under sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the FIR, the informant has alleged that he was in the house of his elder brother Kishun Sah and his 'Bhabhi' in the evening when his other brother (the petitioner herein) came along with his wife and after taking from his wife, he opened fire which hit his left hand causing injury to him. He was taken to Primary Health Centre from where he was referred to Sadar Hospital, Begusarai. He was treated and after returning home, the FIR was lodged.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70392 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 The motive behind the allegation is that the petitioner herein has suspicion that the informant facilitated the inter-caste marriage of his daughter, Kajal Kumari.

Considering the specific allegation that has been levelled against the petitioner of opening fire on his own brother (the informant herein); this Court for the present is not inclined to grant any relief to him and the bail application is hereby rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an earliest.
