ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 24-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 22.05.2019 in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No.69 of 2019 (G.R. No.631/2019) registered for the offence under Sections 394, 395, 397, 412 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has transpired in course of investigation on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by one Bittu Kumar. It is further submitted that another similarly situated co-accused Bipul Kumar, whose name has also surfaced on the basis of such confessional statement, has been extended the privilege of bail in Cr.Misc. No.55513 of 2019, vide order dated 05.09.2019. It is further submitted that

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st, Khagaria, in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No.69 of 2019 (G.R. No.631/2019).
