2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikandarpur P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024 dated 17.07.2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) and 21(b)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Prior to the present petition, similar petition bearing Cr. Misc. No. 82273 of 2024 was filed by the petitioner for his enlargement on regular bail. However, the same was rejected vide order dated 10.01.2025 on account of serious nature of the offence. The petitioner has been apprehended with 391 gm smack which constitutes commercial quantity of the contraband.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this

He further submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 17.07.2024, i.e. for about one year and charge has been framed, but no witness has been examined. He further submits that FSL report is still not received from the concerned laboratory.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not persuaded to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage in view of commercial quantity of the contraband.

6. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for bail is rejected.
