2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No. 140 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, for demand of dowry, the petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons killed the daughter of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He being grandfather-in-law of the deceased, has no concern with the alleged occurrence and has been implicated in this case merely on suspicion.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. The petitioner is the grandfather-in-law of the deceased. He is in custody since 28.06.2024. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawadah in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No. 140 of 2024 , subject to the condition that the petitioner will co-operate in the trial.
