The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 323, 324, 341 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 7.3.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 56854 of 2021.

As per the prosecution case, while the informant was standing at his door, it is stated that the accused persons including the petitioner came there variously armed. The petitioner struck the informant with an iron rod on his head while co-accused Bablu Yadav struck with a tangi.

No. 59567 of 2022(2) dt.23-11-2022 2/2 It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioner that in the order of rejection dated 7.3.2022, the liberty was granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. The petitioner has remained in custody since 30.7.2021, has no criminal antecedent and it has been more than six months since passing of the said order granting liberty. Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the liberty granted by the aforesaid order dated 7.3.2022 together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jamui P.S. Case no. 194 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
