JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 29-11-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(i) For directing the respondents for completion of work of electrification/rehabilitation of village Gangapur Block, Ghosi and install additional D.S.S. and also erection of High Tension and Low Tension Line for which work order has already been approved in the year 2010 but work could not be completed yet. (ii) For further directing the respondents to provide electricity to the consumers of village- Gangapur Block Ghosi who has already

(iii) For any other relief/reliefs the petitioner is sought to be entitled for."

At the outset itself, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the grievance of the petitioner stands substantially redressed and relies the statement made in the counter affidavit in this regard. A perusal of paragraph-6 of the counter affidavit discloses that the petitioner was granted electric connection under D.S. Tariff and meter has been installed on 27.10.2018 vide details enumerated therein. It has further been stated that apart from electric connection having been supplied and energized in the village of the petitioner, as regards the agricultural connection, the petitioner would be required to furnish details of his land. Moreover, 3 phase agriculture connection line also requires to be erected.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner appears. However, he does not dispute the stand of the respondents. No rejoinder has also been filed.

4. The prayer of the petitioner, in so far as it relates to the larger issue of grant of electric connection for 26 domestic uses and 3 irrigation uses for the village of Gangapur cannot be maintained in the present writ petition.

5. As far as the grievance of the petitioner for himself is concerned, the stand of the respondents is clear to the effect that D.S. Tariff electric connection has already been supplied and the meter installed on 27.10.2018. As regards the agricultural connection, 3 phase
