The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "To direct the respondent no.2 and 3 to deduct the half salary / pension of respondent no.4 and pay the same to the petitioner as she is the legally wedded wife of respondent no.4."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the
