====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 22-04-2015 Heard both sides.

The petitioner filed this petition for extending the period of his surrender in the learned court below in pursuance of the order dated 12.02.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 34232 of 2014. It appears that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 12.02.2015 and the petitioner was directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, but the petitioner did not surrender in the learned court below within time nor did he file any petition within time for extending the period of his surrender and 21⁄2 months thereafter the petitioner filed this petition stating that he met with an accident, therefore, he could not surrender, but no certificate to this effect is annexed to this petition.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18315 of 2015 (2) dt.22-04-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
