2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S. Case No. 293 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the IPC.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner assaulted the deceased for the demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated merely because he is father-in-law of the deceased. He has no concern with day to day affairs of the couple. As a matter of fact, the deceased had committed suicide. The information was transmitted to the informant. The informant came and the police opened the door of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66594 of 2024(2) dt.25-09-2024 2/2 the room in his presence. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is under custody since 12.06.2024. The husband of the deceased is still under custody.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S. Case No. 293 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
