ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-10-2024 The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that though the petitioner has submitted the application along with necessary documents for registration of his vehicle which was purchased by him while he was working in Andhra Pradesh, the same has not been done by the respondent authorities.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner has submitted the applications along with the requisites fees and documents in the year 2017 but till date the authorities have not taken any steps to register the vehicle.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State has drawn the attention of the Court to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12852 of 2024(2) dt.23-10-2024 2/2 letter vide Memo No. 7935 dated 19.10.2023 written by the Special Officer, Transport Department (Annexure-6) to the respondent No. 4 wherein, it has been specifically stated that the grievance of the petitioner may be redressed and the respondent No. 4 was directed to complete the formalities and register the vehicle in the name of the petitioner. Even though the letter has been written on 19.10.2023, till date the respondent No. 4 has not taken any step for registering the vehicle in the name of the petitioner.

Having regard to above, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 4 to take into account the letter vide Memo No. 7935 dated 19.10.2023 written by Superior Authority i.e., Special Officer, Transport Department (Annexure-6) and take necessary action for registering the vehicle of the petitioner in his name within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
