JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 07-01-2015 The petitioner claims to be a resident of village- Shahpur, P.S. Nautan, Siwan. He filed this writ petition with a prayer to direct the respondents to enquire into the various irregularities said to have been committed by the Mukhiya of the village, i.e. Respondent No.5, in implementation of different schemes sponsored by the Government.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

Though the prayer is made in general and

Patna High Court CWJC No.12585 of 2014 (2) dt.07-01-2015 2/2 wide terms, the petitioner has confined himself to the fact he has stated in his representation dated 17. 6.2014 in which it was mentioned that the houses under the Indira Awas Yojna were allotted to several members of the same family in the same village, even while the deserving persons were denied the same.

As the things stand now, we find it difficult to record any finding in this behalf. However, the District Collector can enquire into the matter and take necessary steps depending on the findings in the enquiry. We, therefore, dispose of the writ petition directing that the District Collector, Siwan, shall enquire into the representation dated 17.6.2014, submitted by the petitioner and take steps in accordance with law. Interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
