The sole grievance of the petitioner is that though he has filed an application for grant of arms licence for N. P. Bore revolver/pistol on 07.06.2013 itself but no final decision has been taken by the Licensing Authority till date.

Having regards to the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction

Patna High Court CWJC No.12590 of 2014 (2) dt.25-01-2016 2 / 2 to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Patna to take a final decision in the matter on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt /production of a copy of this order.
