JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-02-2015 The grievance of the petitioner in the present case is that despite having submitted a written report to the police in respect of a cognizable offence, which took place on 14th July, 2014, no F.I.R. has been instituted.
A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent nos.6 and 7. It has been contended in the counter affidavit that pursuant to the written report of the petitioner, Kankarbagh P.S.Case No. 288 of 2014 has already been registered for the offences punishable under sections 147, 341, 323, 427 and
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.716 of 2014 (2) dt.16-02-2015 2/2 379 of the Indian Penal Code against the accused persons. A copy of the F.I.R. has also been annexed as Annexure-A to the counter affidavit.
Regard being had to the fact that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed, the writ petition is disposed of.
