Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 273 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 376, 511, 379 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration that there is specific allegation of attempt to rape upon the informant and giving assault of knife blow to the mother of the informant, against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
