The petitioner being the husband of the victim is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demands.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation has been levelled only on suspicion and the petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence on the alleged date of occurrence.

Considering the fact that the postmortem report reflects the death caused by hanging, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
