JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-08-2025 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Asarganj P.S. Case No. 42/ 2025 dated 10.03.2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 80(2), 238 and 3(5) of the BNS.
2. Heard Mr. Atul Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Madhuri Lata, learned APP for the State and perused the FIR as well as the trial court's order.
3. Though, the instant matter relates to the serious offence of murder and dead body of the deceased was recovered from a septic tank, however, petitioner is said to be brother-inlaw of the deceased's husband and the informant has simply raised suspicion against him as being involved with the coaccused persons, other in-laws of the deceased, in killing the deceased so considering this aspect and also taking into account
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59877 of 2025(2) dt.30-08-2025 2/2 completion of investigation against the petitioner, coupled with his custody period and the fact that the main accused persons, who are husband and mother-in-law of the deceased are in judicial custody, as stated by the petitioner's counsel, this court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail in connection with Asarganj P.S. Case No. 42/ 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned. (Shailendra Singh, J) BKS/- U T
