2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 294 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 414 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the co-accused was arrested with the stolen vehicle by the police. On demanding papers, he failed to produce the relevant documents.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that the petitioner was not arrested at the spot. Nothing was recovered from his possession.

No.65916 of 2024(2) dt.24-09-2024 2/2 He further submitted that co-accused Shashi Ranjan @ Shashi Kumar Ranjan's confession, the name of the petitioner has figured in this case and he has already been granted bail by this Bench vide order dated 18.09.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 64322 of 2024. Petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and he is under custody since 25.05.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-Ist, Sherghati at Gaya in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 294 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the Court.
