The grievance of the petitioner is that while he was holding the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Baligaon, Block- Akodhigola in the district of Rohtas that certain dues towards the salary, dearness allowance and travelling allowance amounting to Rs.47,255.28 paisa remained pending and despite repeated request to the district authorities the same has not yet been paid.

While raising such grievance it is admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no written representation to that effect has been filed before the concerned authorities.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13538 of 2014 (2) dt.23-01-2015 Mr. Priyaranjan Singh, learned counsel appearing in support of the petitioner has submitted that the concerned authority to consider the grievance would be the Block Development Officer, Akodhigola, district- Rohtas. In the circumstances discussed, this writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance before the Block Development Officer, Akodhigola, district- Rohtas or the concerned authority and who shall consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law and after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.
