Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be approaching Respondent No 3 who is the competent authority in view of the Amendment dated 17.05.2013 to the Selection Guidelines.

In view of such submission, since the matter has to be considered by the competent authority, keeping the writ petition pending will serve no useful purpose.

Writ petition is disposed of.
