The grievance of the petitioner is that though he had filed an application for grant of firearm licence on 26.03.2014, still no final decision has been taken as yet by the District Magistratecum-Licensing Authority, Patna despite the fact that there is already recommendation by the police authority in favour of the petitioner.

Having regards to the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Patna to take
