JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ and/or order and/or direction commanding the respondents to implement the order dated 29.03.2003 of Deputy Labour Commissioner cum Controlling Authority under the payment of Gratuity Act, Patna Division, Patna passed in G.A.17/97 in toto.
In alternative to above, a direction be given to respondent no. 3 to issue a fresh certificate after
Patna High Court CWJC No.8186 of 2015(5) dt.14-08-2024 2/2 amending the earlier certificate and respondent no. 4 be directed to realise the amount due on the basis of certificate issued by the Deputy Labour Commissioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
