2. By the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to declare his name as 'Aditya Kumar Yadav' in place of 'Pappu Kumar' and also to quash the letter issued under the signature of respondent no.3 whereby the prayer of the petitioner to change the name has been rejected.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, I think it appropriate and in the interest of justice to direct the petitioner to act in accordance with and/or as per the direction given in the judgment passed in the case of Jigya Yadav Vs.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13740 of 2024(2) dt.06-03-2025 2/2 Central Board of Secondary Education and others reported in (2021) 7 SCC 53.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
