1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For quashing of the letter dated 02-03-2021 issued by the Child Development Project officer Ben, Nalanda by which the petitioner has not been selected as Aganbari Sahayika for Ward No -06, Anganbari Centre No 65, Panchayat- Maijra under Ben Block, Nalanda on the ground that she has been crossed 40 years on the date of selection and the petitioner may be selected.

(II) For direction the Respondents to consider candidature of the petitioner in the light of public

Patna High Court CWJC No.15371 of 2022(2) dt.12-03-2024 2/2 notice dated 23-12-2019 issued by the Child Development Project officer, Ben, Nalanda where by invited application for selection of Anganbari Sahayika for Ward No -06, Anganbari Centre No 65, Panchayat- Maijra under Ben Block, Nalanda on which date petitioner was 39 years and complete final selection process. It is further direction to quash selection proceeding by which private respondent No 6 has been selected as Anganbari Sahayika."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
