Counsel for the petitioner submits that the Apex Court has recently decided the issue in the case of Mukesh & anr. Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors: (2017) 5 SCC 387. He submits that in view of the aforesaid judgment the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take final decision in the matter in the light of the aforesaid judgment expeditiously.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent District Education Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.3098 of 2018(2) dt.13-03-2018 2/2 Begusarai to take final decision in the matter of appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground in the light of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Mukesh (supra) within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
