2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 149, 353, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner and other accused persons by obstructed the road and thereby caused hindrance in discharge of official duty by the police men. They were demanding ex-gratia for the kin of deceased who was killed in road accident.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and other persons were sitting on dharna and were demanding compensation for the kin of deceased. The dharna was peaceful. No specific overtact has been alleged against the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64349 of 2023(2) dt.16-10-2023 2/2 for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya in Barachatti Police Station Case No. 556 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
