1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no.2.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case no. 205 of 2023, registered under sections 498A, 341, 323, 406, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner was married to the complainant in the year 2021, however soon thereafter, the accused persons started torturing her for non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry leading to filing of the instant case.

4. By order dated 22.3.2025, the matter was referred to

2/4 the Mediation Centre of the Patna High Court for amicable settlement of dispute between the parties.

5. A report of the Mediator dated 25.4.2025 has been received stating therein that the dispute between the parties has been resolved and the terms of settlement arrived at has been attached with the report.

6. The terms of settlement attached with the report of the Mediator is reproduced herein below for ready reference :-

The parties having arrived at settlement in the Patna High Court Mediation Centre on the terms reproduced herein above, in the facts of the case, it is directed that the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case no. 205 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

4/4 satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara.
