The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondents to calculate the compensation amount on the basis of existing market value of the land and pay compensation for the acquired land of the petitioner. Counter affidavit has been filed stating that remaining 20% of the amount lying due has already been paid to the petitioner.

Having considered the submission of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that if

Patna High Court CWJC No.11000 of 2015(6) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 the petitioner has got any objection with regard to rate of compensation existing on the date of notification for acquisition of the land or on 01.01.2014 on which the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 came into effect, the petitioner may raise objection by filing a petition before the Land Acquisition Authority and the Authority shall dispose of the petition of the petitioner within six months from the date of receipt of the order.

With the aforesaid liberty, this writ petition is disposed of.
