The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Nardiganj P.S. Case No.17 of 2016, registered under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

The Block Education Officer, Nardiganj lodged the case due to non-submission of folders and the register of appointment of Panchayat Teacher.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the Mukhiya of Nagaura Panchayat and the Panchayat Secretary is the custodian of the records of Panchayat. Since the petitioner was the Mukhiya, he has also been made accused in the case.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60047 of 2019(2) dt.26-09-2019 2/2 petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Nawada in connection with Nardiganj P.S.
