JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 28-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 07 of 2014, registered under Sections 13(1)(e) read with 13(2) of the P.C. Act, 1988, pending in the court of Special Judge, CBI- I, Patna.

The accusation is that petitioner being the Branch Manager of Punjab National Bank posted at Barhat and Jamui acquired more property than his income, in check out, during the period from April, 2008 to March, 2013. The salary amount of petitioner was Rs.25,06,307/- but his assets was found about 42,89,376/-.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17546 of 2017 (5) dt.28-07-2017 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
