2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
3. The prosecution-case, in brief, is that on 04.04.2025, P.D.S. dealership of this petitioner was cancelled by the S.D.O., Teghra and his quota was tagged with another P.D.S. dealer. However, this petitioner failed to hand over the remaining food grains and complete set of e-PoS machines.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has neither received food grains allegedly uploaded on the e-PoS machine nor the same has been supplied to the petitioner since 2020. Petitioner has also filed one writ
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60288 of 2025(2) dt.08-09-2025 2/2 application, bearing C.W.J.C. No. 10016 of 2025, against cancellation of his licence, which has been allowed vide order dated 11th of August, 2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Addl. Session Judge-II, Begusarai, in connection with Mansurchak P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
