The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to renew the Arms License and also to issue Unique I.D. Number to the petitioner as the Arms License has already been renewed but the Unique I.D. number has not been given to the petitioner."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file fresh application before the District Magistrate, Patna, in view of letter dated 14.05.2024, issued by the District Arms Magistrate, Patna,
Patna High Court CWJC No.13798 of 2023(4) dt.16-07-2024 2/2 requiring the petitioner to file fresh application for grant of arms license in form A-1, as provided for in the Arms Rule, 2016. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
