In this case, the prayer of the petitioner is that he and his family members are facing threat at the hands of the accused persons who are accused in M.H. Nagar P.S. Case No.190 of 2019. The trial arising out of the aforesaid case is going on and some witnesses are yet to be examined. 3.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has been provided police protection only for the dates fixed in the trial.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, I
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1550 of 2023(2) dt.19-06-2025 2/2 am of the view that the petitioner deserves police protection. 5.
Hence, the Superintendent of Police, Siwan is directed to provide a Personal Security Officer to the petitioner for the next two months.

In case, the trial is not concluded within next two months, the petitioner may approach the Superintendent of Police, Siwan for extension of tenure of the Personal Security Officer provided to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this criminal writ application is disposed of. 8.
Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Siwan forthwith through FAX or e-mail for its compliance.
