2. The petitioner is in custody since 04.05.2016 in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 26 of 2016 for the alleged offences under Sections 376, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated as the informant is a major. The FIR has been instituted belatedly on 29.03.2016 for the alleged occurrence of 21.03.2016.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed.
