JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 30-03-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the impugned order contained in memo no. 07 dated 02.01.2018 issued under the signature of Senior Deputy Collector of Darbhanga in the light of order passed by the Collector on 30.12.2017 by which petitioners have been directed to close the Cinema Hall till further order; and for connected reliefs.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2018 (Annexure-9 to the supplementary affidavit) filed before the District Cinema Magistrate, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 3) is directed to be disposed of, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

3. Learned counsel for the State appears and has been heard.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Cinema Magistrate, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 3) to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 08.01.2018 (Annexure-9), if the same is still pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
