The petitioner is aggrieved by the notice dated 11.07.2024 issued by the Circle Officer, Barouni with respect to the construction of Panchayat Bhawan over the land apertaining to Mouza-Nurpur, Thana no. 537, Khata no. 120, Khesra no. 190, Khatiani area 60, admeasuring 50 decimal, which belonged to the name of the ancestors of the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that

Patna High Court CWJC No.13745 of 2024(2) dt.19-09-2024 2/3 the respondent-State officials are bent upon to construct a Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan over the land in question without any proper acquisition of the land or adequate compensation to the petitioner. So far the impugned notice is concerned, the same is without any date and seal and, as such, the petitioner suspected its genuineness. However, adverting to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner admitted that in response to the aforesaid notice, the petitioner has already filed an objection before the Circle Officer, Barouni (Annexure-2 to the writ petition).

4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the State submitted that since the petitioner has already filed an objection before the Circle Officer, Barouni, who is the Competent Authority to look into the matter after proper examination of the revenue records and dispose off the same.

5. Having heard the learned counsels for the respective parties, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to respondent no.5, the Circle Officer, Barouni, Begusarai, to look into the matter and take appropriate decision in accordance with law, after considering the objection filed by the petitioner (Annexure-2 to the writ petition), preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
