2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 01 of 2022 for the offence registered under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 03.01.2022 by the informant, Mukesh Kumar.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while he went to collect the blood sample on his motorcycle and was returning, it was snatched by the accused persons on the point of knife. Upon protest, he also got injury on his right thigh. He was shifted to City Hospital which followed the FIR.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession but only on the confessional statement of Deepu Kumar and Ankit

5. Learned APP for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail submitting that during investigation his name has popped up and further the petitioner has criminal antecedent of the same nature.
6. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the role that has been attributed to the petitioner coupled with the fact that he has criminal antecedent of the same nature, the anticipatory bail application stands rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Raj Ranjan/- U T
