2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Malsalami P.S. Case No. 839 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable u/s 341, 323, 304B and read with Section 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have strangulated the informant's daughter to death due to non-fulfillment of demand of four wheeler vehicle as dowry under conspiracy.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59630 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant's daughter. The petitioner has clean criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 15.02.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and all the named accused persons including the petitioner are alleged to have killed the daughter of the informant, hence, he does not deserve the liberty of bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the heinous nature of allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Malsalami P.S. Case No. 839 of 2023 pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Patna City.

7. The application stands rejected.

8. The learned trial court is further directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Jyoti/- U T
