JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT 02-03-2017 In compliance with the order of this Court dated 15.02.2017, Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Begusarai has submitted a report dated 22.02.2017 to the effect that the witnesses have been summoned for their evidence in connection with inquiry under Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015. The petitioner's prayer for his release on bail has been rejected by the Juvenile Justice Board, Siwan and subsequently by learned District & Sessions Judge, Begusarai by the impugned order dated 15.11.2016 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 88 of 2016.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without interfering with the impugned orders, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Juvenile Justice Board, Begusarai to conclude inquiry under Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 within six months from the date
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.90 of 2017 (4) dt.02-03-2017 2/2 of communication of the present order.
In the event, the inquiry under Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 is not concluded within the aforesaid period of six months, the petitioner shall have the liberty to renew his prayer for bail before appropriate forum.
This application stands disposed of.
