2. This is the successive second bail application of the petitioner, after rejection of his first prayer of bail through Cr. Misc. No. 48983 of 2023 dated 19.12.2023, wherein a direction was given to the learned trial court to expedite the trial, so as to conclude within eight months.

3. Considering the aforesaid, a report was called for from the learned trial court vide order

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69666 of 2024(5) dt.17-01-2025 2/3 dated 18.10.2024.

4. A report as aforesaid was made available to this Court through letter no. 55 dated 27.09.2024, which suggest that out of six prosecution witnesses, four witnesses have already examined.

5. Considering the progress of trial, the learned trial court is directed to take all possible legal steps to ensure the examination of remaining two prosecution witnesses, by taking this matter on board on day to day basis, if occasion arises so as to conclude the trial within next three months from the date of communication of this order.

6. In view of aforesaid observations, the present prayer of bail of petitioner stands rejected.

7. However, if trial for any reasons not concluded within next three months as directed aforesaid, petitioner may renew his prayer of bail, if so advised.
